And without a doubt inspiration is the need of the hour. The global market place is undergoing dramatic shifts beneath your feet that businesses need to be on top of the knowledge node 24*7 to filter through the noise and find the gold mine. So the question is whether there is a secret recipe to stay on top of the puddle?
SIME tries to answer the question and much more at Barcelona together with the Barcelona day of the Entrepreneur, an event catering to 5500 business leaders, entrepreneurs,tier- 1 investors and members of the press. Barcelona Day of the Entrepreneur has been a regular featured event in Spain since 2001, and this will be the first time SIME has a track along with the main event. The track runs for 4 hours beginning 0930AM in the morning till 1330 on May 21.
SIME Barcelona brings to you the best of SIME content – speakers, knowledge and fun all packaged into a quick to download 4 hour format. The detailed agenda can be found here. Catch some of SIME’s favorite personalities like Martin Varsavsky (founder of FON), Morten Lund (neo classical entrepreneur, and a maverick), Stefan Glanzer (chairman and co-founder last.fm), Ola Ahlvarsson (SIME Moderator) amongst others (speaker profiles) who will be sharing their terabytes of digital knowledge and inspiration.
The 4 hour SIME track is then followed by business matchmaking for companies interested in doing business in Spain and Barcelona as well as expert workshops with international speakers. SIME Barcelona is offered free and, matchmaking and knowledge tracks are charged separately based on your needs.
It’s a by-invite only event, and you can register here for the invite.

Honestly, I don´t think you could have selected a more douchebaggy set of profiles than if you´d gone to HotOrNot.com and copied the comments section verbatim.
What exactly is a “Neo-Classical serial entrepreneur” and why does it resemble a Mexican soap opera actor? Would it be accurate to suggest that “Venturepreneurship” has caught on in the global lexicon like the word “Santorum” or “Saddlebacking”? Who uses a profile picture of themselves sucking down a cup of coffee? Is she hung-over? An alcoholic perhaps?
