Ericsson’s Director of Communications Dwight Witherspoon kicked off day two with a chat about exploring the world with 50 billion connected devices. Tweets were enthusiastic: “Kicking off #sime11 day 2 talking about visions of the future according to Ericsson! Fantastic!”. Yesterday’s top tweeter Jesper Bylund wrote: “Dwight is talking about Ericsson being enthused to innovate by working with entrepreneurs. Sounds awesome to me!”: an opinion reflected and repeated in many tweets, Swedish and international: “Witherspoon is a very stunning chief evangelist for ericsson – excellent outlook on networked society at #sime11”. The film Networked Society ‘On the Brink’ from Ericsson proved very popular.
