Erik designed and manages the world’s largest competition for early stage innovation, Global Change Award, launched by the Foundation in 2015.
Erik is the lead for attracting, selecting and coaching the winning innovations. In his role, Erik also initiated and oversees the pioneering collaboration with HKRITA with the goal of providing the industry with a solution for separation and recycling of textiles.
He holds a Master in Political Science from Uppsala University and National Defence College in Sweden. He has a background in finance and PR, and before joining the Foundation he worked to develop the business environment in emerging markets including producing a handbook for managers; Management in Complex Environments. Erik is a Swedish national with a passion for alpine skiing and he lives in Stockholm.
