Following a long tradition of celebrating outstanding achievements in the digital space we are proud to once again present the SIME Awards under the following categories.
2. SIME Entrepreneur of the year for the individual or the organization that through innovation, guts and insights broken new ground and made reality give way for a dream went to Mojang, the makers of Mindcraft.
3. In addition the SIME Non-Profit Award recognizes a non-profit organization or a social entrepreneur that has given given the SIME audience the most interesting challenge, which can leverage the power of technology and digital media to improve the lives of other people and the world we live in. Motivation: Volontärbyrån works in the service of every other NGO out there, connecting individuals with organizations and making good stuff happen.That’s a beautiful thing in it itself but with the addition of the volunteermap the matchmaking can be happen in a brand new way. The technical solutions are easily available, but in order to spread the word the prize from Aftonbladet will come to perfect use.
