The SIME Non-Profit Summit is a, by invitation only, two day summit open for non profit organizations and social entrepreneurs, held every November in Stockholm, Sweden, as a parallel track to the “ordinary” SIME Stockholm Conference. Those who work to make the world a better place get free invitation to listen to the SIME main stage sessions as well as to knowledge sharing workshops designed to give new insights, tools and relationships.

CHALLENGES 2012

We have created a space for all the non-profit organizations and social entrepreneurs that attend to show challenges they face in the digital sphere, trying to inspire companies to help them solve it.

By taking on a challenge, you together help create smart non-profit/for-profit collaborations. Rewarding for you both.

SIME NON-PROFIT AWARD

Each year we award the one Challenge we find the most inspiring and that makes us go wow.

In 2010 hosted by Microsoft and Facebook, in 2011 hosted by Aftonbladet.

The Winner of the SIME Non-Profit Award 2011:

VOLONTÄRBYRÅN – THE SWEDISH VOLUNTEER BUREAU

The jury’s motivation:

Volontärbyrån works in the service of every other NGO out there, connecting individuals with organizations and making good stuff happen. That’s a beautiful thing in it itself but with the addition of the volunteermap the matchmaking can happen in a brand new way. The technical solutions are easily available, but in order to spread the word the prize from Aftonbladet will come to perfect use.
