Anna Bråkenhielm is the CEO of Silverback, which develops international formats for television and new media platforms. Anna began her career as a journalist and PR consultant before she went over to the television industry. Anna has worked for 15 years as the President of production company Strix, where she increased sales by 400% which made the company into the most profitable production company in Scandinavia. In 2006 Anna started a production company with the Dutch media mogul John de Mol. The following year Anna bought him out and renamed the production company to Silverback. In the spring of 2008 sold Anna’s Silverback to British ITV plc, but continues to be its CEO.
