Secretary General, Swedish Fundraising Council

Christine von Sydow is the Secretary General for the Swedish Fundraising Council. Through her academic and professional life, an interest in communications and social issues, often with an international aspect, has been the common denominator. She has
experience from the private sector, as well as the public sector and third sector. For more than ten years Christine was a Swedish diplomat, working and living in several countries, and for more than fifteen years she has worked with communications, as an Information manager in the financial sector, as a senior communications consultant at Kreab, and as Director of Communication, at Sida, and, most recently, at the Swedish Ministry of Finance. Christine was also a board member of SOS-Childrens Villages. Christine has an MBA from Uppsala University and a post-graduate degree as a communications strategist from IHR/Stockholm University.
