Marketing Head, Sony Ericsson

Joakim Liljedahl is the Head of Marketing for Sony Ericsson in the Nordics since 2009. Joakim was part of the Swedish/Japanese joint venture already in its founding year 2001, and has since then had various global roles, both in the global product planning organization and in the Latin American marketing office in Miami.

Since the launch of the brand, Sony Ericsson has changed the way consumers use their phones by establishing new categories with its Walkman and Cybershot phones. Joakim’s current ambition is to establish Xperia as the leading Android smartphone brand in the Nordics, starting with the Xperia X10 family in 2010.

Through his carrier, Joakim has also worked as Brand Strategy Consultant at Brand Clinic, and as Global Product Marketing Manager at TomTom International in Amsterdam.
