Co-Founder "The Nunatak Group"

Maks Giordano (1972) is the co-founder and managing partner of the “Nunatak Group”, a Boutique Digital Consultancy with Offices in Berlin, Munich and Cologne. He is active in the Digital Arena since the early nineties. As a director with I-D Media, he helped to grow the company from 25 to over 500 employees and established international offices. Maks also played a very vital part in the creation of “cycosmos”, Germanys Leading Social Network in the 90ies. In 2000, he became a member of the management board of MetaDesign, one of Europe´s leading CI/CD Agencies. He was responsible for the digital unit and became heavily involved in cross-media and mobile concept development. In 2003, Maks co-founded one of the first Mobile Service Agencies in Europe and established the company as a leading partner to international TelCos, Media Houses and Consumer Brands for the creation and deployment of mobile services and portals.

 

Before founding juuman´okudo, a Digital Agency specialized in Mobile App Development and becoming deeply involved with iPad App development earlier in 2010, Maks worked for KYTE, the mobile, online and social video platform as their managing director for Germany and was a Member of the Management Board of SevenOne Intermedia, the multimedia unit of the ProSiebenSat1 Network, a Pan-European Media House in 12 Countries. He was responsible for the Mobile and Games Unit and in charge of Innovation for the Group.

 

Maks is a very active Seed Business Angel and invested in a dozen Mobile Companies.

 

He holds an MBA in Media & Communication from the University of St.Gallen, taught Mobile Business and Innovation Management at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Berlin and in Dornbirn/Austria, published books about Mobile Business and Usability and was a judge to the “One Show New York” and both the “Webbys” and “Lovies” Awards.
