Associate Professor at the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness, SSE

Robin Teigland is Associate Professor at the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) and the caretaker of SSE’s island in Second Life. Her current research focuses on investigating how social media and virtual worlds enable online and inworld communities to create value as well as how these media are impacting our basic assumptions of the firm and economic activity as we understand them today. She also leads the Nordic Virtual Worlds Network (NVWN), an international project investigating innovation and entrepreneurship through virtual worlds and the 3D internet (www.nordicworlds.net).
