Founder and Chairman, Ocean Observations
Sofia has a background in interaction design, usefulness and usability, being a pioneer in the field of mobile user experience. In 1999 Sofia wrote her Master thesis on this subject at a time where there was only one WAP phone to be found in the European market.The research inspired her to focus on the subject of mobile user experience which led her to founding Ocean Observations and working with mobile pioneers such as Samsung. During the latest years of running Ocean Sofia has participated in the conceptual phases of client projects as well as focusing on building a creative and innovation driven culture where the teams are encouraged and inspired to come up with new ideas and rethinking established design solutions.
