Tariq Krim, Founder and CEO of Jolicloud. Before Jolicloud, Tariq founded netvibes.com – one of the most popular and awarded European Web 2.0 start-ups that helps millions of users simplify the way they personalize and consume information.

Tariq started his first online messaging system in the early 80’s while attending elementary school and has been involved in the rise of the Internet in France. As a journalist he wrote some of the first articles about the Internet in France. He has together with L8R Media, a blog based media company he founded pioneered the use of participatory journalism in France. In 2008, Tariq was nominated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
He recently joined the New Media Advisory Board of the Center for American Progress, one of the most influential think tanks in the United States.
