Head Payments, Raiffeisen Bank

Thomas Labenbacher joined Raiffeisen International as division head payment services in 2007. Thomas is looking after innovation in the digital world with the ambition to be a leading bank in payments. His primary focus is online, mobile and emerging payment streams. Before joining Raiffeisen International he was member of the board of directors of the Western Union International Bank. Thomas has been working for Western Union for 6 years; thereof he spent 3 years in Moscow as a COO. Prior to his career at Western Union he spent several years with GE Capital, boc and Austrian Airlines. Thomas is the founder and Chairman of the Financial Service Club CEE and is member of several industry forums.
