Division X’s mission is to spearhead the new generation telco, by innovating and scaling new businesses, partnering to build relevant ecosystems, and through strategic investments and acquisitions.

Joining Telia’s Division X in July 2017, Stephanie brings more than 22 years’ experience in telecoms, across Australasia, Americas, South East Asia and now Nordics and Baltics.

Stephanie’s team works across Telia’s emerging businesses including Enterprise and Public IoT, Digital Acceleration, Data Insights, Digital Markets and the Purple + innovation hub.

Prior to Telia, Stephanie has explored the world with Ericsson, and has always gravitated towards innovation and sustainability related opportunities, including launching Ericsson’s first multi-technology mobile application developers program, undertaking the first CO2 reduction assessments for mobile field-force applications, working with the first human rights impact assessment under the UN Guidelines for corporations, and going on to establish Ericsson’s Smart and Sustainable Cities business.

She has held a range of senior roles at Ericsson including Global Head of Marketing and Communications for Industry and Society, Global Head of Smart & Sustainable Cities, Regional VP for Marketing, Communications, Sustainability and Government Relations for South East Asia and Oceania, based in Singapore, and Global Business Manager Internet Partnering based in Silicon Valley.

Her board and advisory roles have included six years on the Board of Directors for Information City Australia, a technology incubator and investment company in which Ericsson had a shareholding; she was appointed to the spectrum advisory council for the Australian Communications and Media Authority, and was a long standing member of the Australian Mobile Telecoms Association Policy and Strategy committee. In 2014, Stephanie was presented with the CMO Asia Women Leader Award for ICT development, in recognition of her contribution to Ericsson’s responsible entry to Myanmar.
