Finally, all the 36 super stars from the SIME Rising Stars of the North are released, and the list looks formidable to say the least. Should we pity the jury members who have the task of digging deeper into the business models, growth options, innovation height, sustainability amongst other KPI’s to rank them in an order from 1 - 36? I think we should, they have a Himalayan task ahead of them.

What amazes me is the diversity of the whole list, from music / video streaming to video ad servers, from search 2.0 (or 3.0 / 3.0 - whatever) to AI, from surface charging to web security, they just all seem to come in all forms and shapes, with innovation being the common aspect they all share.
