In Syria he studied business administration at the Syrian international school and continued with International Migration and Ethnic Relations in Malmö University, 2013. During his university years he saw that, despite an increasing Arabic speaking population in Malmö, there were hardly any multilingual information.
Kotada started to work with media and communication in 2013 and has since then, developed Aktarr to be one of the biggest media platforms that provide news and information to the growing Arabic diaspora in Sweden. Aktarr has over 300,000 readers and a social media platform that receives more than 5.2 million engagements every month. Aktarr works closely with Swedish companies and organizations that helps them to reach out to, and engage with, the largest growing community in Sweden.
