Therese von Blixen co-founded Sime Social Impact 2010 as a reaction to bridge the gap between the business and the non-profit sectors. She is passionate about creating cross-sectorial thinking between business and global development for the possibility of using new technology and innovation to drive social and environmental change.
Most recently she has also worked for the EU project Better Migration Management (BMM) as lead facilitator at conferences in East Africa. Prior to this she re-launched the Non-Violence Project Scandinavia and re-built it in Sweden as its Regional Director. She has also amongst other things spent time with the International Red Cross in Geneva working on food security operations, held wind-up radio training with Tuareg rebels in Niger and youth in refugee camps in Tanzania and Burundi, been part of a team building the Absolute Vodka brand and worked as a monkey keeper at a Zoo which bred endangered species.
